Highly recommend, the lady at the desk is super nice, and the orthodontist there is just as kind. Never had any issues, always quick with their work, and never have had any pain or bad service.

I have only good things to say about Dr. Dorminey and his staff. I had old orthodontic work done when I was a teenager but it came loose. My dentist tried to reglue the loose piece (sublingual bar) but ended up misaligning my teeth really badly. I couldn’t even bite down without extreme pain. I was referred to an orthodontist. That orthodontist told me I needed work on my teeth that would take 1 ½ years to correct and $6,000. I was shocked. I did not feel comfortable with him and luckily decided to get a second opinion and found Dr. Dorminey.
When I visited Dr. Dorminey’s office I was prepared to pay. But when Dr. Dorminey took a look at my teeth. He stated I didn’t need any orthodontic work. He told me that my teeth would naturally realign in a couple months. I was surprised and asked more questions. After ~2 months my teeth naturally realigned. Yes, it was painful but he was right. 2 1/2 months later I made an appointment to see Dr. Dorminey again. I thought I needed to get a replacement bar glued back on my teeth. But he told me I didn’t need one. My teeth alignment was good and they were not loose.
Both office visits were reassuring, wonderful experiences. The receptionists were very friendly and genuine. I feel Dr Dorminey is a very kind and trustworthy dentist. I felt that he cared about me and wanted me to get the best outcome. Most of the time I feel doctors rush you and don’t see you as a person. If you are looking for an honest and caring orthodontist who won’t try to sell you work you don’t need then Dr Dorminey is the orthodontist you are looking for. Thank you so much!

Dr Dorminey and the whole staff are fantastic. The office is run in a very professional manner, keeping appointments on time, and everyone always friendly. Vienna loves her green and red Christmas braces! They worked hard to fill our unique needs. This is my 5th child in braces at Dorminey Orthodontics and it’s been a great experience every time.

Our 3 children went to go to Dorminey Orthodontics and we were completely happy with them! Then I went as an adult for Invisalign (Spark aligners). Everything about the process was wonderful! We have had great experiences with Dorminey Ortho in their Elk Grove office. Our daughter has an amazing smile and our son is 6 months into his treatment plan. The office is beautiful, clean and very efficient.

They don't accept my insurance. So what? They saw me anyway! They took care of my concerns, made a proposal for ways to move forward and I'm comfortable enough to pay out of pocket for the braces I'm 10 years overdue for. Pricing is so, so reasonable. The staff is nice and speedy. Dr. Dorminey is professional. I want to take my dad here for all of the work he needs done. I recommend this place to anyone who is nervous about going to the orthodontist.

I went to the Green Haven office for the first time and like the one in Elk Grove, the staffs were so friendly and nice at Dr. Dorminey’s office. I arrived 15 minutes early and they saw me right away. I was in and out. Definitely one of the best places to go get your braces done

Excellent staff! Friendly and professional! I went in to replace my bottom retainer and asked for a non-plastic option. Dr. Dorminey talked to me about the many options they offer. He suggested the wire retainer.

At the fitting, he took his time to see if the retainer was comfortable in my mouth. He made adjustments for me.

He even noticed the top retainer I brought in was adjusted before. He has a good eye!

I would recommend him!

Does this Orthodontics place do 3D scanning for retainers or impressions for after getting Braces off?

All I can say Dr Dorminey is the best orthodontist that you can find in town. Very patient, taking care well of his patients. Highly recommended! Hands down.

Dr. Dorminey and the staff are great. I went to an appointment with my nephew and they got us back right on time. Dr. Dorminey spent a lot of time explaining about the treatment and procedures. When it came time for impressions I was amazed by the scanner they have. The teeth showed up right on the computer screen and there was no need for the nasty impressions I had to have as a kid. I would highly recommend this office!
